Cancel opening a connection when pressing ^C
Patch is available for version: pine 4.63 pine 4.64

When Pine tries to open a connection to a server, or tries to use a connection already open, you may want to cancel such connection by pressing ^C. However, this may not happen. For example, if you press the TAB key to check for new mail in an incoming folder, Pine tries to open a connection, or use an already open connection three times until it gives up trying to connect to the server. This may be unwanted if you are trying to cancel opening such connection. This patch allows you to cancel all attempts to open such connection by pressing ^C only once. Reported in comp.mail.pine.
