Connect to a LDAP server using a distinguished name and password
Patch is available for version: pine 4.58 This patch by Lester Hightower allows pine to connect to an LDAP server non-anonymously (by binding to a distinguished name with a password). If the environment variables PINE_BIND_DN and PINE_BIND_PASSWD are defined. The first variable is used to specify the distinguished name that you are going to use, for example, anonymous, and the second to specify the password. You can also read a few more comments about setting up Pine to use this patch. |
