NET MENU

This command can be used to pop-up and display the DOS-NET Main Menu from the DOS command line inside a batch file, or when you wish to pop-up a remote machine's DOS-NET Main Menu through the NetSoft LAN remote control option (NET RC).

Normally, to activate the DOS-NET Main Menu, you must hold down the CTRL+ALT+Right Shift keys. This displays the local DOS-NET Main Menu only.

Activating the DOS-NET Main

Syntax: NET MENU

Use the following command to activate the DOS-NET Main Menu.

NET MENU

If it fails to activate, check the Popup= parameter in your DOSNET.INI file. This parameter is used to enable and disable pop-up menus. This parameter should be set to a value of 1 to enable pop-up menus, or 0 to disable pop-up menus.

When using the remote control option (NET RC) to control a remote machine, you may wish to pop-up the remote machine's DOS-NET Main Menu. To do this, you must use this command instead of CTRL+ALT+Right Shift keys to activate a remote DOS-NET Main Menu.

Pressing the CTRL+ALT+Right Shift keys always displays the local DOS-NET Main Menu.
