NET Command Syntax Chart
You must include all punctuation (except braces, brackets and bars) such as periods, equal signs, forward slashes and backslashes, where illustrated in the syntax. NET TIMEThis command is used to synchronise a client machine's date and time with that of a server's date and time. Regardless of whether this command is used, files saved or updated on a server machine always use the server's date and time to stamp the file's directory entry, unless the client software specifically sets the files date and time. Syntax: NET TIME \\computername The following command synchronises the local machine's date and time with that of the machine known as \\SERVER1: NET TIME \\SERVER1 You cannot use this command to synchronise with a client machine unless it is also a server machine. NOTE This command is only available from a client configured machine. The remote machine with which you wish to synchronise with must be a server configured machine.
